Job Description: Commission-Based Sales Representative for Baby Mama, the Label

As a brand founded and run by a nursing mother, we understand the unique needs of moms during their motherhood journey. Our mission is to empower and celebrate motherhood with stylish and comfortable clothing that creates a special bond between mamas and their little ones.

Responsibilities:

  1. Promote and Sell Matching Mama and Baby T-Shirts: Actively reach out to potential customers, social media influencers, boutiques, and other retail outlets to promote and sell our matching mama and baby t-shirts.
  2. Build and Manage Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with customers, respond to inquiries promptly, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  3. Generate Sales and Meet Targets: Utilize effective sales techniques to drive sales and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
  4. Identify New Sales Opportunities: Identify and explore potential partnerships with retailers, boutiques, and other distribution channels to expand the brand’s reach and sales.
  5. Participate in Events and Trade Shows: Represent Baby Mama, the Label, at industry events, trade shows, and fashion expos to showcase our products and network with potential clients.
  6. Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches. Provide valuable feedback from customers to refine marketing strategies.
  7. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales data. Generate regular sales reports to present to the sales manager and company executives.
  8. Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our matching mama and baby t-shirts, including product features, sizing options, and fabric details, to effectively address customer inquiries.

Requirements:

  1. Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry. Experience in B2B and B2C sales is a plus.
  2. Passion for Motherhood and Fashion: A genuine passion for celebrating motherhood and an interest in fashion and apparel trends.
  3. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey the brand’s message and engage customers.
  4. Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.
  5. Networking Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building abilities to connect with potential clients and influencers.
  6. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and respond positively to challenges.
  7. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using sales tools, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and other digital sales platforms.
  8. Education: High school diploma required; additional education in business, marketing, or fashion-related fields is a plus.

Compensation: This position is commission-based, offering a competitive commission percentage on each successful sale made. There is no cap on earning potential, and the more sales you generate, the more you earn.
